Daffodils at Gibbs Garden

We recently discovered a beautiful new place to visit - Gibbs Garden. This place is similar to Callaway Gardens down near Columbus GA. It's actually pretty close to our house though - just about 40 minutes northeast - so I will definitely be going regularly.

I shot my Nikon SP and Bessa R2S cameras with color film - either Portra 160VC or Velvia 50. The daffodils were in full bloom so it was a great day to enjoy the colors.

And finally, one last photo of me, my wife, and my parents:

Doll's Head Trail, Atlanta

Been meaning to go hike at this place for awhile, so a couple of weeks ago Meagan and I finally went while driving through Atlanta. It's an interesting place and one I will probably revisit.

I shot some Portra 160VC with my Nikon SP reissue and Voigtlander 25mm f/4, Nikkor 3.5cm f/1.8, or Nikkor 5cm f/1.4:

That's all for today - I've shot a lot of 35mm lately so will post more soon.

SPE at the Hilton - Orlando, FL

This past weekend I traveled to Orlando for the national conference of SPE - Society for Photographic Education. My friend Kaleb and I stayed at a local Airbnb because we certainly couldn't afford to stay at the conference hotel - the Hilton.

The hotel was very nice though and I couldn't help but snap a few images of the decor, especially the chandeliers:

I also took a couple photos of Kaleb in the exhibition hall and showing his prints:
