Grand Canyon, Day 2 - Sunset

Another month has gone by and I continue to somewhat neglect this blog. Been busy, plus I'm struggling on the direction of this blog and my personal website. This blog superseded my former one due to its region-specific theme, but it was getting pretty good traction in terms of impressions and now this one not so much...so I'm struggling a bit to justify my effort here.

Well anyway, onto some actual photographs. I went to the Grand Canyon again a few days later in relation to the last post and saw the sun set. Here's some images from one of the most popular lookout points:

The more pastel images were on Portra 160, taken with my Mercury 6x9 camera, and the more vivid image was Velvia 50 in my Pentax 67 with 55mm lens.

I got to the GC right at sunset and then afterwords settled in back at Desert View for the night. I shot some images overnight but they didn't turn out unfortunately. The next morning I got up and shot the sunset...but that'll be the next entry! Hopefully not a month from now...
